Anything that is text can go in a QR code — a link, a wifi string, a note. PNG is the one to paste into a document; SVG stays sharp however large it is printed.
Send a picture of a code — a screenshot, a photo, a downloaded PNG — and the text inside it comes back. Light-on-dark codes are read too.
Shortens a long url and renders the short link as a code in one call — the pair to print on a poster, where a long url would be unscannable and unreadable both. The format, size and colours are the ones set on the generate tab.
